From Monday 25 August to Wednesday 27 August 2025, engineering works will take place on the RE5 railway line. On all three days, no trains will run between Berlin and Oranienburg from 8:00 to 18:00. S-Bahn line S1 will operate as normal between Berlin and Oranienburg. more

In memory of the participants, relatives and associates of the 20 July 1944 plot a memorial plaque was unveiled at the new memorial site of the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum. Several individuals involved or connected to the failed assassination attempt on Hitler were held in the Ravensbrück Women’s Concentration Camp. more

#StolenMemory: Ring of Halina Kucharczyk Returned at Ravensbrück Memorial Museum

As part of the #StolenMemory initiative by the Arolsen Archives, the ring of a survivor of the Ravensbrück women’s concentration camp was returned to her granddaughters at the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum on 10 July 2025. Despite the ring’s return more than 80 years later, the family was deeply moved. more

The Ravensbrück Memorial mourns the loss of Marie Vaislic, who passed away in Toulouse on 1 May 2025 at the age of 94. As a survivor of the Ravensbrück and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps, she was active in France and Europe as a speaker and witness who campaigned for remembrance, education and humanity throughout her life. more
