We congratulate Bärbel Schindler-Saefkow on her 80th birthday

Today we warmly congratulate Dr Bärbel Schindler-Saefkow on her 80th birthday. As the daughter of the resistance fighters Anton and Aenne Saefkow, she was and is very closely connected to the Brandenburg-Görden and Ravensbrück memorials. In 1959, she gave the speech to the youth at the opening of the Ravensbrück National Memorial (photo), and in 2002-2019 she served as Secretary General of the International Ravensbrück Committee. We also wish for many joint projects in the future!
