In June 2026, the international and interdisciplinary remembrance and performance project “Sound in the Silence – Raise Your Voice” returns to the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum. In this edition, students from Freie Universität Berlin and Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts will develop a performance together with artists from various disciplines. more

The Ravensbrück Memorial Museum, in collaboration with the ‘Brückenschlag Fürstenberg’ e.V. association, is once again delighted to invite you to an open-air cinema evening on Friday, 31 July 2026. The event will take place in front of the pavilion in Fürstenberg City Park. more

2 August is the European Day of Remembrance for Sinti and Roma persecuted and murdered under National Socialism. To mark this day of remembrance, the Ravensbrück Memorial Site is commemorating the history of the persecution and murder of Sinti and Roma with a programme of events. more

The 18th European Summer University will take place from 31 August to 4 September 2026 at the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum under the title ‘Camps – Spaces – Neighbours. Concentration Camps and their Surroundings’. more

13. September 2026 – all day

On 13 September, the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum will take part in the nationwide Day of Open Monuments with a special guided tour. Participation is free of charge. The tour will be held in German only. more

In cooperation with the association Brückenschlag Fürstenberg e.V., the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum invites you to a reading with Götz Aly. The historian and journalist will present his latest book “Wie konnte das geschehen? Deutschland 1933 bis 1945” (German edition; How Could This Happen? Germany 1933 to 1945) at the Kulturgasthof “Alte Reederei” in Fürstenberg. more
