From February 2nd to 5th, 2025, 80 years after the liberation of the concentration camps, the Brandenburg Memorials Foundation is organizing an international conference on the National Socialist camp system in 1944, when it reached its greatest expansion and the highest number of prisoners. more

On March 30, 2025, the 80th anniversary of the death of French nun Élise Rivet will be commemorated. As a member of the Résistance, she helped persecuted individuals escape deportation until she herself was arrested, deported to Ravensbrück, and murdered on Good Friday in 1945. In her memory, the St. Lukas Neubrandenburg parish invites you to a memorial service at the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum. A guided tour of the historical camp grounds and the subsequent gathering in the café provide an opportunity for remembrance and exchange. The event will be held in German. more

The Theater Youth Club Ensemble Angestrahlt brings a powerful production to the stage with Some Things I Know, but I Don’t Remember. Inspired by the life of Emmie Arbel, who survived Ravensbrück concentration camp as a child, this performance explores how memories remain alive. A thought-provoking engagement with the past and the present. Premiere on June 12, 2025, at Theater Strahl and on July 13 at the Ravensbrück Memorial.
