30 March 2026 marks the 81st anniversary of the death of the French nun Élise Rivet. As a member of the Resistance, she saved persecuted people from deportation until she herself was taken to Ravensbrück and murdered on Good Friday 1945. In her memory, the Catholic parishes of Fürstenberg/Havel, Neubrandenburg and Waren invite you to a memorial service at the Ravensbrück Memorial Site. more

Susanne Baer, former judge of the Federal Constitutional Court and professor at Humboldt University of Berlin, offers a personal insight into the work of the Court and discusses how it protects democracy. more

In this edition, students from Freie Universität Berlin and Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts will develop a performance together with artists from various disciplines. more

On 9 July 2026, the #StolenMemory traveling exhibition of the Arolsen Archives opens on the forecourt of the former SS headquarters – personal belongings of concentration camp prisoners and the search for their families. On view until 5 August, daily 10 am to 6 pm, admission free. more

The guided tour provides an overview of the history of the former women's concentration camp and follows the themes of the #StolenMemory traveling exhibition, from the theft of personal belongings to their return to the families today.
